Education Partnership Agreements

Education partnership agreements between ARL and HBCU/MI allow ARL to transfer excess equipment, provide senior ARL researchers to serve as instructors and mentors, provide opportunities for HBCU/MI professors to work in an ARL laboratory, etc. 

  • Seventeen currently in place with HBCU/MIs
  • ARL currently has entered into education partnership agreements with the following HBCU/Mi's:
    • Alcorn State University, Bowie State University, City College of New York, Clark Atlanta University, Hampton University, Howard University, Jackson State University, Lincoln University, Morgan State, New Mexico State University, North Carolina A&T  University, Southern University, Southwest Indian Polytechnic Institute, University of California at Los Angeles, University of New Mexico Center for High Tech Materials, University of Texas at El Paso, University of the Virgin Islands

  • Additional agreements are planned for FY 1998-99
